Who is eligible for nomination? The BOLD Awards is open to individuals and companies around the world who are currently and actively engaged in different fields and directly related to categories. All submissions must have been conducted within the immediate past 2 years of their nomination. Submissions that were begun earlier are eligible as long as demonstrable results can be documented in the past 2 years.

Can I nominate more than one individual or company on the same nomination form for a particular award category or multiple award categories? While you can nominate several individuals or companies in multiple award categories, you will need to complete a separate nomination form for each nominee per each award category.

What is the nomination process? Go to submit your project to access the nomination form. You must answer all the questions to complete the nomination. Each nomination form will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. Partial submissions will be declined so please be thoughtful and choose your words carefully before submitting your nomination.
Submissions after January 22nd 2019 will have a €25 entry fee per submission. Submissions end on January 31st 2019.

Note: Information you submit may be used in BOLD Awards announcements and materials to publicize the nominee and the awards ceremony at H-FARM Venice, Italy on April 5th, 2019.

Are BOLD Awards winners required to attend the awards ceremony? Yes. BOLD Awardees are required to attend the awards ceremony at which their award will be conferred. Absence will mean forfeiture of the nomination.

What is the selection process? Finalists will be selected via public voting, then jury members with category-specific expertise will evaluate the shortlisted entries based on their criteria and select 5 nominees per category. The public vote is weighted 50% and the judges final vote is also 50%. The winner will be revealed at the awards ceremony on April 5th, 2019 in Venice, Italy.
