Who can enter the BOLD Awards?

The BOLD Awards is open to individuals, companies and organizations who can demonstrate their involvement in the project that fits any of our 33 BOLD Awards categories. All entries must have passed the idea stage and must have been conducted within the immediate past 2 years.

All are eligible to enter whether a household name or startup and have a fair and equal chance of winning! As a global awards program, entrants can be based anywhere in the world.

How can I enter?

Create an account and then go to submit your project to access the nomination form. You must answer all the required questions to complete the entry. Each entry form will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.

Note: Information you submit may be used in BOLD Awards announcements and materials to publicize the nominee and the awards ceremony at H-FARM Venice, Italy on March 22nd, 2024.

Can we enter more than one person or company into each category?

Absolutely. Each project entry can have up to 3 categories. Just make sure that you meet the eligibility criteria for each category before submitting. There is no limit to the number of entries which an individual or company may submit in any of the award categories provided the criteria are met.

Why is there a processing fee?

For BOLD Awards to remain fully independent and to deliver the rigorous process that makes it unique, there has to be a processing fee. The nominal fee contributes to the costs associated with the administration and review of all the entries and organizing the event. It also lets us know that entrants are committed to submitting quality entries and are serious about the entry process.

How much is the processing fee?

All entries are subject to a €187 processing fee. Discounts are available for early entries as shown below:

All the submissions can be updated two weeks before public voting.

What does the processing fee include?

  • Review and listing of entry on the BOLD Awards website with your unique url during the public voting that attracts tech-savvy audiences in over 75+ countries
  • Digital materials to showcase accomplishment
  • Be in the running for nomination and win in selected categories

If I start an entry can I update it after?

Yes. If you log back in, your entry will be held under the Projects section. You will then be able to select the “edit” button and make the necessary changes. Please be sure to press save. By submitting and saving your project you can lock in the rate (given there are Early Birds and Snoozing special savings before the final deadline on December 31st, 2023).

How do I pay?

After completing the nomination form, you will be redirected to the BOLD Awards’ payment page. You can pay via PayPal or by credit card (without a PayPal account and without registering with PayPal). We also accept ETH via Venly wallet. If you are unable to do an online payment, please email us at hello@bold-awards.com

What is the selection process? 

Finalists will be selected via public voting, then jury members with category-specific expertise will evaluate the shortlisted entries based on their criteria and select 7 nominees per category. The public vote is weighted 50% and the judges final vote is also 50%. The winner will be revealed at the awards ceremony on March 22nd, 2024 in Venice, Italy.

Who can participate in the public voting?

The public voting will be open to all starting January 2024. As part of our security measures, our system will only accept up to 10 votes per IP or email address.

We will be closely monitoring all votes and if we see any indications of fraudulent accounts or automated voting scripts, we will investigate, seek clarification and, where necessary, disqualify votes.

What do BOLD Finalists and Winners get?

  • Listing on the BOLD Awards website as a top seven Nominee on your respective category
  • Inclusion in the annual BOLD Awards booklet distributed to all ceremony guests
  • Digital materials to promote achievement, including BOLD Awards’ Nominee and the recipient of the Award for each category  
  • Major Press Release inclusion of all recipients including their company or project name
  • Bespoke trophy for Category Award presented at the BOLD Awards ceremony and optional acceptance speech before an audience of 300+ executives around the world (Winners only)

How much does it cost to attend the awards ceremony?

The face ticket is €1,275. Finalists get a special rate of €695 each for up to 2 seats per finalist. The ticket includes a three-course meal, drinks and roundtrip shuttle bus from Tronchetto to H-FARM.

Are BOLD Awards finalists required to attend the awards ceremony? 

Yes. BOLD finalists are required to attend the awards ceremony or have at least one representative present at which their award will be conferred.

Gala Dinner Tickets are €975 per seat which includes a 3-course dinner and drinks. A €50 deposit is required to reserve your seat(s) at the end of this form. The deposit is refundable if not selected to participate. If accepted, the deposit will be deducted from the ticket price.
