Fundamental Touch is powered by wireless architecture that separates haptic simulations from visual displays and user interfaces. It addresses a key problem of traditional high-fidelity kinesthetic haptics that require direct connection via a wire to a powerful desktop computer, limiting mobility and adoption. Fundamental Touch solves these problems with a client-server model that enables movement and scalability, all at a low latency.

The software of Fundamental Touch runs on a dedicated haptic serving that interprets serialized simulations sent from the input device, such as a headset, and translates user actions, including button clicks or scene changes, into realistic haptic feedback. This provides an interactive and engaging experience across several verticals. The dedicated haptic server is an embedded device or single-board computer that connects directly to the haptic devices and is designed to be embedded over time. The connection is made possible by a robust peer-to-peer communication layer which seamlessly connects the headset or input device with the server, enabling low-latency, bi-directional data exchange for instantaneous, real-time force feedback.

With this architecture, Fundamental Touch serves as a plug-and-play platform for wireless haptics, empowering users to build rich, high-fidelity tactile simulations that were once only possible with wired systems.

This breakthrough in XR opens the door to a variety of industries that use the sense of touch and simulated sensation. It redefines what’s possible in anything from military and industrial training to gaming and artistic experiences.

Fundamental Touch brings high-fidelity wireless haptics to standalone XR systems, eliminating setup friction and cost while delivering unparalleled realism. The platform scales immersive training and simulation across industries, from industrial and technical education to defense and emergency response, allowing users to safely practice complex, high-stakes tasks with lifelike tactile precision.

For robotics, remote operations, and mobility, Fundamental Touch enables operators and engineers to “feel” robotic interactions or vehicle responses in real time. This enhances control, safety, and situational awareness in hazardous or remote environments. Additionally, it transforms cloud and VR gaming with true-to-life sensation, while freeing users from the clutter of wires, making users experience everything from the rumble of engines to the recoil of gameplay

Beyond simulation and performance, Fundamental Touch also empowers artists and designers to bring their creations to life through tactile interaction, enabling them to feel textures, resistance, and form in digital sculpting, modeling, and design. Together, these capabilities mark a new era for wireless haptics, one defined by freedom, fidelity, and limitless creative potential. Additionally, it is also designed for enterprise organizations to set a new standard for scaling skills training, making it more immersive, intuitive and as physical as a real-world experience
