In December 2021, global leader in immersive surgical training FundamentalVR and Sana Kliniken partnered to create CareVR: a safe, low-cost, and immersive environment for new and experienced nurses to shorten the learning curve and provide consistent training modules.
CareVR was born out of a specific challenge identified in the nursing education landscape. Currently, nurses have limited opportunities to practice and actively participate in real-life surgical scenarios, which poses risks and hinders their learning process. FundamentalVR and Sana Kliniken recognized the need for a platform that could provide medical professionals with a safe and realistic environment to learn and operate without any potential harm.
