Talaya Systems – Regenerative Mobility & Territorial Intelligence Platform

Talaya Systems is a regenerative mobility and territorial intelligence platform designed to help rural destinations, protected areas and sensitive landscapes manage visitor flows in alignment with ecological limits and local well-being. It responds to the growing pressure of tourism and mobility on fragile territories, where conventional smart-city solutions fail due to lack of connectivity, energy infrastructure and appropriate governance models.

At its core, Talaya deploys a distributed network of autonomous IoT sensors (radar, mmWave, LiDAR and complementary environmental sensors) capable of operating off-grid, without fixed power supply or continuous connectivity. These devices capture real-time data on pedestrian and vehicle flows, access points, parking areas and critical hotspots, even in remote natural environments.

The data collected is transmitted through low-power networks (LoRaWAN or delayed sync) and transformed into actionable, real-time intelligence via a modular dashboard system. This intelligence allows territories to understand actual patterns of use, anticipate saturation, detect anomalies and make informed decisions on mobility management, access regulation and visitor redistribution.

Talaya is not conceived as a purely technological solution, but as a governance tool embedded in a bioregional and regenerative framework. The platform is designed to be operated by local administrations, park authorities, destination managers and community stakeholders, enabling shared situational awareness and coordinated responses.
