Driving dollars to higher performing nonprofits leads to greater social impact! The nonprofit sector in the USA is generates more than $400+ Billion dollars a year in donations. More than half of that money comes from individual donors. Charity Navigator guides informed giving by evaluating the financial health, accountability, and transparency of more than 9,000 charities annually. This is not enough – and donors are demanding performance data (aka Impact Measurement). In an effort to begin to meet this need, we have partnered with our counterparts/competitor and have moved the dial from zero performance data in early 2017 to close to 30,000 nonprofit profiles with some form of performance data from 4 different partners. The next steps of this project will be to launch and experimental ratings in the Spring of 2020 that allows us to integrate elements of this performance data into the evaluations we serve the public.
