ONO Exponential Farming develops technologies and services which enable anyone to grow anything, anywhere in the World, in a sustainable, agile, and profitable way.

ONO Exponential farming is a tool that makes it possible for anyone to become a real farmer. It results from an engineering project that combines mechanics, robotics, agronomy, computer science, and biotechnology. Through artificial intelligence and a central agronomy team, the ONOEF farm learns from experience in the field. It improves growth processes daily through an open network of information from the multiple ONOEF farms installed worldwide. The ONOEF farmer will be part of a cooperative community where artificial intelligence works for people. Our goal is to reduce human labor potentially to zero. This is particularly important in this time of worldwide pandemic crisis, in which masks and gloves must be worn to prevent transmission of the virus. We’ve reached our objective of contaminant reduction, and after pesticides, we’ve eliminated the last remaining contaminant in the vegetable production process: the human being! ONO Exponential Farming represents a production model for the future that can withstand the current pandemic and the next one.

The ONO platform makes producing food where environmental and production conditions would make farming difficult.

The field of science allows the rapid development of experimental trials to generate optimal conditions for producing molecules of interest and their presentation on an industrial scale.

From an environmental point of view, it represents one of the most practical solutions for reducing captured CO2, being defined as a CARBON NEGATIVE SOLUTION; for this reason, we call it a digital forest. This is because of its insulated structure and the lack of human presence in the growing environment. This allows the usage of CO2 in the process of photosynthesis.

ONO is the first robotic vertical farming solution with scalability as its primary focus. 

An endless number of ONO Racks can be connected at any time to move the growing trays through the system. Each ONO Rack can work independently or in combination with other Racks to make up an ecosystem, according to the mission set by ONO/OS supervision. Furthermore, automation and AI work to increase quality output performance thanks to nutrition blends, climate conditions, and irradiation settings that are fully customized for each crop type and growing stage.  

 It is also the first and only vertical farming system on the market that can guarantee the future expandability of the farm and modification of the original setup. An ONO farm is a scalable and omnidirectional platform with no limits.

The system can be enlarged following the evolution of the business without overspending or interrupting operations. 

ONO’s global patents, already registered and recognized in several countries, show the system to be the first robotic modular vertical farming platform in the World. 

Each ONO Rack can be assembled and produced locally according to the project.

ONO features the most up-to-date technology, utilizing its block programming system to create plant growth recipes based on artificial intelligence algorithms.

Each group of Racks can be connected to any third-party technology, thus creating the best conditions for integration into the production chain.

Access to the system is through the ONO User Interface (Android-based): a comprehensive and easy-to-use multi-touch flat screen. As with a smartphone, the user experience is optimized and the library of feeding recipes can be viewed with a downloadable app. The ONO UI graphic interface guides the farmer in carrying out each mission, quickly identifying the goods to be picked up or allocated in the system. It leads to a drastic reduction in human error. To enhance the user experience, usage statistics and clean data are constantly collected to return a continuously updated system view to the customer.

A calibrated number of sensors collect data to set the parameters for predictive maintenance to achieve non-stop operation.

ONOEF technology is currently being tested by several major pharmaceutical companies as a new standard to produce fully traceable, zero contaminant plants for molecular extracts.
