As enterprises around the world strive to meet WCAG standards, they often view their accessibility efforts as a legal checklist. They miss out on the biggest value driver when it comes to persons with disabilities (PWD): serving them as customers. Webex understands this. That’s why the team focused on developing empathy in their inclusive design efforts as they began to improve their world-renowned Webex platform with the help of digital quality testing leader and crowdtesting partner, Applause.

Applause’s uTest community of more than 1 million testers offers access to an extremely diverse demographic of testers, including people with disabilities. These testers provide real world feedback to enable companies like Webex to include input from people with diverse capabilities throughout the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), to validate the quality of user experiences.
