Bedpan washers are mainly used in hospitals to clean bedpans. They usually consume a lot water (128 ltr.) and therefore a lot of energy and – related to the water consumption – also lot of detergent. Nonetheless, it is necessary to have such devices to protect the nurses and other staff in the hospital from infection in the hospital. That’s why Steelco, an Italian company situated in Riese Pio X in the Veneto Region, has invented a bedpan washer with a system that reduces the water consumption up to 78% and also the consumption of energy and chemical in order to protect our environment and to save resources. This system has been patented and nominated for many awards. Systems such as the explained invention will protect the environment and the future for our next generation.

Steelco was founded by three people who, in a unique way, perfectly complement each other as a team. This innovation is the result of the business sense and innovation of F. Zardini (CEO) and I. Capovilla (retired R&D Director).
