The benefits of how to accelerate innovation through crowdsourcing input from non-employees are steadily gaining ground among organizations of all types and sizes, from startups to global corporations. This form of decentralized, open innovation generates input from experts in other business sectors who can offer transferable solutions to challenges, and link seemingly disparate factors together to innovate in ways previously unimagined by in-sector specialists.
