Launching 10,000 tech companies in 10 years

We are proud and delighted to let you know we have started an exciting partnership with 10X Incubator, based in Miami, USA.  BOLD Awards is totally aligned with their mission to positively impact the world through building, scaling and selling 10,000 tech companies in 10 years! Its co-founders are Grant Cardone, the founder of Cardone Enterprises and the world’s largest real estate crowdfunding platform, and Jared Yellin, who built and sold his own $60 million software company. They have based their 10X Incubator program on building and working with four key crowds.

Jared Yellin

To learn more about the 10X Incubator program, and how it matches the aims of BOLD Awards, register for your place in the audience at a BOLD Series conversation between Epi Ludvik, founder of BOLD Awards, and Jared Yellin on how to 10X Your Ideas and Be BOLD in 2022. You will learn what skills a tech founder needs, and what can be outsourced; how to connect the dots for go-to-market success; the biggest opportunities for tech companies. It’s on February 2, 2022 from 5pm to 6pm Central European Time. There is no registration fee before January 18.

Founder entrepreneurs

Transforming Napkins, MVP’s, and Cash-Flowing Tech Companies into an EXIT

The key crowd 10X Incubator wants to hear from are early stage tech entrepreneurs and startups that have anything from handwritten notes, a pitch deck, or a minimum viable product to share with them. What they are looking for are tech company partners whose vision of a breakthrough has potential to eliminate at least one inefficiency in a country or industry, or even on a wider basis, and to scale within five to seven years. Anyone with a me-too business plan need not apply.

The reason Grant and Jared are confident of success in building these businesses is because Jared realized early on that speed to market is the prime factor that differentiates tech winners and losers. He has also experienced how difficult and distracting it can be to develop a tech product or service, and at the same time have to grow and run a business around it. The solution is to split product development from business development.

Business development professionals

To resolve such issues, the 10X Incubator becomes a co-founder of the businesses it accepts on the program, and has a crowd of ready-made teams to provide all the professional services a tech startup could need. All staff recruitment and scaling issues are taken care of.

Development of actual software is handled by a team based in India. Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Strategic Planning, Customer Support, Legal and Financial professional services, and any other aspects, are put in the hands of trusted experts recruited by 10X Incubator, and all delivered at “cost price.”

Angel investors

Many startups can benefit from the input of someone who has “been there and done it” in their product or industry sector. They know how the marketplace works, and they have contacts. A crowd of angel investors are the first to hear of all the new investment opportunities, and to perhaps also become something of a ‘door opener’ or mentor for some of them.  In 10 years, 10X Incubator aims to build, scale and sell 10,000 tech startups that have a marketplace USP. The angel investors will undoubtedly be in on the ground floor of some future tech unicorns.

Retail investors

Where angel investors lead, crowdfunding retail investors follow. They are the fourth crowd that 10X Incubator is building, and they call them their Tech Insiders. Membership as a Tech Insider is not free, and is incentivized by access to a number of benefits.

To spur early sign-ups, the first thousand Tech Insiders will enjoy two years’ membership for the price of one, and after the second year their annual renewal fee will be fixed at the original rate with guaranteed zero increases.

On a simply transactional basis, Tech Insiders will receive 5% discounts on the value of investments they make. With an annual membership currently set at £997, there is a straightforward calculation to grasp. Once a Tech Insider has invested $20,000 in a year, the 5% reduction covers their annual membership. There isn’t a set requirement to have to invest that much a year, but it’s how the math works out.

Additional benefits include first user access and beta testing opportunities; networking in-person and at virtual events with other Insiders; and access to a private social platform to connect and collaborate with fellow Insiders.

10X Incubator is also committed to providing an amount of education so that Insiders can sharpen their knowledge on tech, and eventually perhaps become a tech startup co-founder themselves. Part of this process will include regular online teachings in which 10X Incubator execs run through ten tech startups at a time, explaining the reasons why they were accepted – or not – in to the program. These sessions will definitely hone each Insider’s instincts on what to look for when deciding where to invest. This will be a crucial skill when potential tech unicorns are presented to them.

One hour a week should be enough for Tech Insiders to keep in touch and be active within their crowd.

10X Incubator stands to give everyone the opportunity to become a tech entrepreneur.
